Product Warranties and Repairs

All products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
All items sold by PortableGuy are warranted solely by the manufacturer/distributor, except "direct import" a/k/a IMP items. All items needing repair (other than IMP) should be sent to the manufacturer/distributor directly for service. PortableGuy is not liable if the manufacturer/distributor fails to perform warranty service.

  • For IMP items only, PortableGuy provides a warranty identical to the provisions and limitations of the manufacturers warranty for such items, with the exception of the time period, which is equal to the term of the manufacturers warranty or one (1) year, whichever is less. Your warranty card and/or sales slip must accompany all items.
  • All refurbished equipment sold by PortableGuy include a return-to-manufacturer warranty (manufacturer Warranties may vary).

PortableGuy's warranty provides coverage for defects in manufacturing only, and expressly excludes coverage for excessive wear and tear and/or physical/accidental abuse, loss and theft. The warranty is valid only at PortableGuy. Improper repair or warranty service performed by someone other than PortableGuy will void this warranty.

PortableGuy disclaims any liability for consequential or incidental damages, for breach of written or implied warranty of an item, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. PortableGuys liability is limited to the monetary value of the merchandise. A PortableGuy warranty provides specific legal rights; however, you may have additional rights, which vary from state to state.

As some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, the above limitation may not apply. Our warranty is valid only in the U.S. For additional information on how to obtain warranty service, please contact us.
